About the Resnick Center

This 34,000-square-foot building offers classrooms, research laboratories, prototyping spaces and dedicated areas for student success and advising. An outdoor orchard, plaza and courtyard complement this space on the west side of campus, which is near the Student Farm, research fields, greenhouse and agricultural facilities.

The facility was designed to highlight the work happening inside with windows into the advanced labs and spaces. The front exterior of the building showcases an etched orchard design with interior walls made of glass. 

Experts across disciplines work in labs equipped with robotics, sensors, data science and artificial intelligence, many of the technologies that are transforming how agriculture is managed and scaled. Research efforts focus on making agricultural systems more resilient, developing next-generation technologies, maximizing sustainability through water and energy efficiencies, and expanding access to nutritious food.
